🚀 New Feature Launch: Use Chexy for All Your Business Expenses (Even Corporate Taxes)

Running a business means juggling rent, suppliers, payroll, and taxes, all while keeping enough cash in the bank for your next big move. Now, with Chexy, you can pay virtually any business expense with your credit card, even if your vendor doesn’t normally take cards.
Yes: that includes corporate taxes, property taxes, insurance, inventory, and contractor invoices. Even though the CRA doesn’t accept credit cards directly, Chexy makes it happen (and turns it into points or cashback and helps you reach those high welcome bonuses).
Why This is a Game-Changer for Business Owners
💳 Earn rewards on everyday expenses: Turn rent, payroll remittances, supplier bills, and taxes into Aeroplan points or up to 4% cashback.
💸 Improve cash flow: Pay with your card now, keep your cash for up to 55 days, and use it for payroll, marketing, or growth.
👍 No extra work for your vendors: You pay with your card, they get paid the usual way (e-Transfer, Bill Pay, or PAD). No sign-ups, no learning curve.

🧑⚕️ From the OR to the Airport Lounge: How a Doctor Turned His Passion for Travel Rewards into a Business

Meet Dr. Benjamin Hutten-Czapski, a physician and anesthesiologist based in southern Ontario, and the founder of RewardsMD. What started as his own passion for maximizing travel rewards has grown into a business dedicated to helping other professionals, especially those in medicine, unlock the full potential of their points and miles.
His inspiration came from a personal frustration: most travel rewards advice was aimed either at casual consumers or the ultra-wealthy. “Professionals were being overlooked,” he says. “Many think aspirational travel is out of reach.”
Through one-on-one consultations, group sessions, blog articles, and partnerships with brands like Chexy, RewardsMD shows clients how to translate their spending power into bucket-list experiences without draining their bank accounts. And for new professionals, the first consultation is always free—a nod to his mission of helping peers get started without barriers.
One of his key partnerships is with Chexy. For Ben, it’s been a game-changer. “I use Chexy for corporate installments, payroll remittances, and insurance payments,” he says. “It unlocks spend that would otherwise go unrewarded, and when you combine that with the right credit card, the payoff can be huge.”
His personal card of choice? The American Express Business Platinum, paired with the flexibility of Amex Membership Rewards points. It’s the currency that’s taken him—and his family—to places like Warsaw in business class, with his toddler peacefully asleep beside him the entire flight.
When it comes to strategy, Ben urges clients to think beyond the typical round-trip itinerary. Open-jaw flights (into one city, out of another) and creative routing (like taking one flight there, trains throughout, and another flight back with a totally different company) can dramatically stretch your rewards value. “Cash travellers tend to think in straight lines,” he says. “Points let you bend them.”
It’s an approach that blends the precision of medicine with the art of travel hacking—meticulous planning, big payoffs, and experiences worth savouring. For professionals curious about where their spending could take them, Ben and his team at RewardsMD provide free consultations to new professionals.

Everyone starts their Miles & Points journey somewhere. Maybe you’ve already booked a few trips, maybe you’ve racked up a solid balance, or maybe you’re just trying to figure out the next step.
If you’ve ever wished you could just talk through your strategy with someone — and actually get tailored advice based on your lifestyle and goals — that’s exactly what Points Coaching at Prince of Travel was built for.

This month, we’ve launched a one-on-one coaching program for anyone who wants to take a more structured approach to rewards travel. The format is simple: four one-hour sessions with a dedicated coach, plus a year of Prince of Travel Platinum Membership for continued learning and connecting with like-minded travellers.
Each session is customized to your goals and needs. Some members focus on earning strategy and credit card planning. Others want help finding and booking award flights. Some just need a second set of eyes to figure out why their current plan isn’t working.
In past sessions, members have:
Built a card strategy that earned enough Aeroplan points for a family trip to Hawaii in business class
Maximized a mix of Aeroplan, Avios, and FlyingBlue miles balances for a multi-stop Europe trip
Learned how to search and book the Etihad Apartment from Abu Dhabi to Toronto

Etihad Airways A380 First Class Apartments
The Miles & Points landscape is always changing, and keeping up with program updates, transfer bonuses, and sweet spots can be a full-time job.
Coaching helps you save time, energy, and ultimately money, while avoiding the trial-and-error approach.
If you’ve been sitting on points without a plan — or just want to unlock more from what you already have — this could be the nudge you need.

Check out these awesome deals you definitely don't want to miss if you're thinking about travelling in the next few months!
