Your Next Stay Awaits: 90,000 Points with Marriott Bonvoy 🏨

Exciting news – there are a fresh set of new deals on the Marriott Bonvoy American Express Card and the Marriott Bonvoy Business American Express Card.

This time, the welcome bonuses have gotten a nice boost, and guess what? You'll earn all those points in the first year 📅!

Amex Marriott Bonvoy Card: Grab Up to 85,000 Points

The Marriott Bonvoy American Express Card is back with a bang! After a measly 55,000 point welcome bonus since Summer 2023, it's now offering up to 85,000 Marriott Bonvoy points in the first year.

Here's the break down:

  • Get 70,000 Bonvoy points after spending $3,000 in the first three months

  • Earn an extra 3 Bonvoy points (a total of 5 points) per dollar on gas and travel purchases, up to 15,000 points in your first 6 months

You can easily grab the 70,000 Bonvoy points by using this card to pay rent through Chexy. With your rent being your largest monthly payment, combined with your other expenses, you can easily meet these requirements. (More on this below) ⬇️

To unlock the second part of the welcome bonus, you'll need to spend $5,000 on eligible gas or travel purchases.

Therefore, the best strategy would be to prioritize charging travel expenses to your card within the first three months. So, if you have any summer plans with your friends or family, offer to use your card and have everyone pay you their share.. If you trust them 🤭!

This way, you'll simultaneously work toward fulfilling the requirements for the first part of the welcome bonus and the additional bonus category.

Amex Marriott Bonvoy Business Card: Grab Up to 90,000 Points

Meanwhile, the Marriott Bonvoy Business American Express Card is upping the ante with a slightly higher welcome bonus:

  • Score 75,000 Bonvoy points after spending $6,000 in the first three months.

  • Plus, earn an extra 2 Bonvoy points (a total of 5 points) per dollar on eligible gas, dining, and travel purchases, up to 15,000 points, in your first 6 months

That's a whopping 90,000 points up for grabs! With this offer, the card essentially becomes a premium version of the Amex Cobalt, thanks to the 5 points you could earn on dining 🍽️.

Couple this with using the card to pay your rent, and you're essentially letting your largest monthly expense and food, which are necessities, fuel your next stay.

Note: Both cards also come packed with awesome perks, like annual Free Night Awards and elite qualifying nights, making either one a great decision!

The offer is only available until May 6, 2024, so if you're interested and eligible, grab one of these cards.

Easiest Way to Grab Those Points 👀

If you’re a renter and thinking of getting this card, you can use your new credit card to pay your rent through Chexy to grab the larger chunk of the sign up bonus. It's the fastest and easiest way to meet that sign-up bonus requirements. Plus, you can get your first month fee waived, allowing you to secure your all your points.

Here’s how:

Once you have your card, head to Chexy.co and sign up. You’ll be asked what card you want to pay your rent with - select this card as your payment method. Not only will you meet the bonus requirements, but you'll continue to earn rewards or cashback on your rent payments. It's a win-win!

Best Way to Spend 🫰

It's important to highlight that earning 70,000 points upon spending $3,000 in the first three months is a fantastic offer. With the current valuations, we estimate Bonvoy points to be worth 0.8 cents per point.

This translates to a value of $560 for 70,000 Bonvoy points and $720 for 90,000 points.

70,000 points could get you a one night stay at the top of the line resort across various countries and if you prefer budget-friendly stays, 70,000 points can cover two nights at a mid-tier hotel or up to five nights in a decent hotel 🏨.

The decision is yours, depending on your travel limitations and location. Nonetheless, this offer is excellent, so make sure to maximize the points you earn for the ultimate experience.
