Flying Blue Promo Rewards Are Back and Canada Gets a Win šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦āœˆļø

If you collect points, this is one of those months where it actually pays to look twice.

The February 2026 Air France–KLM Flying Blue Promo Rewards are now live, and Canadian routes are front and centre. The standout deal is easily Europe to Montreal in economy for just 18,750 miles one-way.

That’s one of the lowest European redemption prices you will see from Canada on a major airline.

Toronto is also included at the same price, but it’s labelled ā€œExtra Exclusive,ā€ which means it’s only bookable if you’re subscribed to Flying Blue Extra.

Travel is valid all the way through July 31, 2026, which makes this especially interesting for spring and summer trips.

Quick refresher on Flying Blue Promo Rewards

Flying Blue Promo Rewards are monthly discounts on select Air France and KLM award flights. The discount is usually 25%, sometimes more, and applies when the lowest standard award pricing is available.

You can see the official Promo Rewards page here.

When a Promo Reward lines up with your plans, it’s often the best value way to get to Europe using points, especially from Canada.

The main event for Canadians

Here’s what matters this month if you’re flying from Canada.

šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦ Europe to Montreal

  • Economy class from 18,750 miles one-way

  • Available to all Flying Blue members

  • Valid for travel through July 31, 2026

Montreal tends to get solid award availability with Air France, and at under 19,000 miles, this is a very easy redemption to justify if you’re sitting on transferable points.

šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦ Europe to Toronto

  • Economy class from 18,750 miles one-way

  • Marked as Extra Exclusive

  • Only bookable if you’re a Flying Blue Extra subscriber

Same pricing as Montreal, but gated behind the paid subscription. If you already have Flying Blue Extra, it’s still an excellent value. If not, Montreal is the simpler option.

Details on Flying Blue Extra can be found here.

Why this pricing matters

Flying Blue uses harmonized award pricing, meaning the minimum price from North America to Europe is the same whether you’re flying from Montreal or Toronto.

Standard Flying Blue pricing is:

  • Economy from 25,000 miles

  • Premium economy from 40,000 miles

  • Business class from 60,000 miles

With a 25% Promo Reward applied, economy drops to 18,750 miles, which is about as good as it gets for Europe flights from Canada.

Promo Rewards are valid on one-way and round-trip bookings, which makes it easy to combine with other programs or cash flights.

Booking deadline to know about ā°

Even though these are called February 2026 Promo Rewards, you must book by the end of December.

Travel can take place anytime up to July 31, 2026, but once the month ends, the discounted pricing disappears.

How Canadians can earn Flying Blue miles

Flying Blue is very easy to fund from Canada.

American Express Membership Rewards

Canadians can transfer American Express Membership Rewards to Flying Blue at a 1:1 ratio, an improvement from the previous 1:0.75 transfer rate!

This includes points earned from cards like:

  • American Express Platinum Card

  • American Express Gold Rewards Card

  • American Express Cobalt Card

Air France KLM World Elite Mastercard by Brim

There’s also the Air France KLM World Elite Mastercard, issued by Brim Financial.

Card details are available here.

It earns Flying Blue miles directly, though it currently does not offer a strong welcome bonus.

Marriott Bonvoy transfers

If you collect Marriott Bonvoy points, you can transfer 60,000 Bonvoy points to Flying Blue and receive 25,000 Flying Blue miles thanks to the built-in 5,000-mile bonus.

Marriott airline transfer details.

🚨 Note: Only transfer if you’ve got a strong redemption lined up and you’re not planning to use your Bonvoy points elsewhere, as Marriott to airline transfers are permanent.

Final thoughts

For Canadian travellers, this month’s Flying Blue Promo Rewards are simple and strong.

Montreal to Europe for 18,750 miles is the clear win, and Toronto at the same price is still very compelling if you already have Flying Blue Extra.

If Europe is anywhere on your 2026 list, especially for summer travel, this is one of those redemptions that’s hard to ignore. I’d be checking availability sooner rather than later šŸ™‚

Check out these awesome deals you definitely don't want to miss if you're thinking about travelling in the next few months!
