💳️ A New 25% Discount From Air Canada

Attention, Aeroplan members! Remember that enticing 25% discount offer from Air Canada for booking seats with points that they teased us with last month? Well, it appears that someone at Air Canada extended the offer, intentionally or not!

An Oversight or a Secret Gift: Whether it was a case of forgetfulness or a cleverly concealed extension, the outcome benefits us. While business class seats are often scarce, Premium Economy and Economy offer an abundance of choices.

Mastering the Art of Saving Points: For our illustration, let's focus on the Vancouver - Toronto route, which is among the most popular.

Here's the breakdown: Typically, Air Canada's chart prices domestic Economy flights at 12,500 points one-way and Premium Economy at 20,000 points one-way for a flight distance of 2,085 miles. But with this ongoing discount, you can snag seats for as low as 7,300 points for Economy and 12,900 points for Premium Economy (even lower than the advertised 25% off). Of course, remember to factor in fees. This presents exceptional value!

Take Action (and Flight) Quickly:This offer has a limited lifespan. These discounts are available only for flights in November and December 2023. After that, regular prices will apply. I've noticed substantial discounted availability on routes like Vancouver - Toronto, Calgary - Toronto, and Montreal - Vancouver.

Optimize Your Benefits

I'm a fan of amassing points because they open up unique opportunities for great value when flying. Let's consider an example: flying one-way from Toronto to Vancouver on November 28, 2023. If we redeem Aeroplan points, you can secure an Economy seat for 7.3K points or a Premium Economy seat for 14K points. That's a fantastic price for either option!

Now, let's compare these same flights to their cash prices:

As you can see, the cash price is $155 for Economy and $952 for Premium Economy. This is precisely why I strongly recommend accumulating points for those who aspire to travel in

Premium Economy or Business class.

The Economy redemption still offers remarkable value, providing you with about 2.12 cents per point (anything above 2 cents is considered good). However, if you opt for Premium Economy, you'll get an astounding 6.8 cents per point, which is three times more value for your money!

So, if you possess a stash of Aeroplan points, now is the ideal moment to use them for exceptional value on domestic flights. And if you don't have any yet, perhaps it's time to start accumulating. Wishing you safe travels and significant savings!
