30% Transfer Bonus from RBC Avion to British Airways Executive Club
If you're part of the RBC Avion crew and have been eyeing those sweet rewards from British Airways Executive Club, you're in luck! RBC is currently running an offer where you get a 30% bonus when you transfer your Avion points to Avios. Let's dive into this deal!
Overview
As explained above, you can now for a limited time get a 30% bonus upon transferring your Avion points to Avios, which is available for all RBC Avion cardholders (Infinite, Infinite Privilege, Platinum, Business Commercial etc). This offer runs until June 21, 2024, so if you’re in the market or have a reward flight in mind, now might be the time to top up on your Avios! 🤑
Normally, the conversion ratio from RBC Avion to British Airways Executive Club is a straightforward 1:1. But with this bonus in play, it becomes 1:1.3!
Now, it's important to note that you do need to transfer a minimum of 10,000 Avion points to take part in this promotion with the 30% bonus showing up on your Avios account instead of RBC.
The More Avion Points, The More Bonus Potential
If you're short on Avion points, consider applying for one of the RBC credit cards, which can easily secure you anywhere from 35,000 to 70,000 Avion points with the right card.
For example, the RBC Avion Visa Infinite and Visa Platinum cards come with a sign-up bonus of 55,000 points with 35,000 of those points upon approval, which you can then use to transfer to Avios allowing you to get 45,500 Avios points! Keep reading below to find out how you can maximize these new Avios. ⬇️
Maximizing Your Value
Now that you have around 45,500 points, here’s how you can maximize those points to get the best rewards flights possible.
One method worth considering is leveraging Qatar Airways Privilege Club. Qatar Airways has been using the Avios currency ever since March of 2022, which makes it easy for you to transfer points from other airlines like Iberia, British Airways, Aer Lingus, and more.
While these airlines share the Avios currency, each program operates on its unique award chart, so shop around to find the best deal possible.
Nevertheless, booking Qsuites with Qatar Avios is possibly the best opportunity and use of your Avios. 🔑
Whether you've been an Avion points collector or just recently converted your HSBC Rewards from the merger, now's the time to make those points work for you.
Don't miss your chance to make the most of those hard-earned points. Happy travels!
