🛬 30% Points Buying Discount With Aeroplan
✅ Air Canada to Resume Vancouver–Dubai Route
🗺️ Chexy Deals: Copenhagen (Business Class), Amsterdam and Lisbon
Save 30% on Aeroplan Points
Aeroplan is running another special promotion where you can get a 30% discount on points purchases until September 3, 2024. 🤑
Promo Details
Here are the discount breakdowns:
Buy 10,000–19,000 points: Get 15% off
Buy 20,000–75,000 points: Get 20% off
Buy 80,000–95,000 points: Get 25% off
Buy 100,000+ points: Get 30% off
With the 30% discount, points are priced at 2.45 cents each, which is higher than our current target redemption value of 2.1 cents per point.
When Should You Consider This?
This discount can be a good deal if you need a quick top-up for a specific Aeroplan flight redemption. But if you have some time, you might want to consider waiting for a better promotion, since we have covered past offers that have included bonuses of up to 125%. 🤝
Note: Purchasing or gifting points doesn’t contribute to Aeroplan Elite Status.
Buying Limits
You can buy up to 1,000,000 points per year, with a transaction limit of 250,000 points. For gifting, you can buy up to 500,000 points annually. 🎁
Things To Consider
Points purchases are processed through Points.com, which means you won’t earn extra rewards on your credit card. To avoid GST/HST, use a US credit card if you can.
Who Should Consider Buying Points?
✅ Travelers on Partner Airlines: Fixed award prices on partner airlines can offer more value, especially for long-haul flights.
🏡 Families Sharing Points: You can buy points across multiple accounts within a Family Sharing group, up to 8,000,000 points per year.
Final Thoughts
Deciding whether to take advantage of this offer depends on your travel plans. If you’re close to reaching a redemption and need a few extra points, this could be a good opportunity. However, if you’re not in a hurry or don’t have immediate plans, it might be worth waiting for potentially better deals in the future.
Happy travels! 🙌
