August 2024 Promo Rewards Overview
August’s Promo Rewards offer discounts on economy, premium economy, and business class flights to many destinations worldwide, including North America. If you’re planning to travel between now and the end of January 2025, this is likely the best time to save. With the recent adjustments to Flying Blue’s award pricing, it’s worth a look.

The best way to get Flying Blue Mile outside of having a credit card that lets you do so is through your American Express credit card. American Express points can be transferred at a 1:0.75 ratio, great if you have points lying around and see a good deal with Flying Blue.

Aeroplan Members Can Now Redeem Points on Eurowings!
As of July 25, 2024, Aeroplan has expanded its partnership with Eurowings, adding the airline to the redemption side of things. This means you can now redeem your Aeroplan points for flights on Eurowings.
Up until now, the partnership between Aeroplan and Eurowings only allowed members to earn points on Eurowings flights. So, it's great to see that you can now use those points to book flights with them too.
Redeeming Your Aeroplan Points on Eurowings
You’ll be pleased to know that Aeroplan members can now redeem points for travel on Eurowings in both Economy and Business Class. While Eurowings might ring a bell for some Canadians due to its previous long-haul flights to Canada, the airline is now focused on shorter European routes under its own brand.
